Travel Tyrol at traveltyrol.com (the “Site”) is a privately run travel blog about Tyrol and beyond, owned and operated by Linda de Beer as a one-person business (Einzelunternehmen/EPU) based in Tulfes, Austria. Further details about the business are available in my Impressum. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these terms of use (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site. I reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time; the version published on the Site at the time of your visit applies, so please check back periodically. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

Intellectual Property

All written content, photographs and other images on the Site are owned by Linda de Beer unless otherwise credited, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws in Austria and internationally. You may not republish, copy, reproduce, upload, post, modify, translate, sell or otherwise distribute any material from the Site for commercial purposes without my express written permission. Individual pages of the Site may be shared, downloaded or printed for personal, non-commercial use, provided all copyright and proprietary notices remain intact. You are welcome to link to the Site, including on social media, as long as this does not state or imply that I sponsor or endorse the linking site.

Accuracy of Information

I do my best to keep the information on the Site accurate and up to date, in particular travel tips, prices, opening hours, and recommendations about Tyrol and beyond, but I cannot guarantee that everything is correct or current at all times, and mistakes may occur. Prices, availability, opening times, entry requirements, and similar details can change without notice, so it remains your responsibility to independently verify any information before relying on it or making travel arrangements, and to seek professional advice where appropriate, for example regarding visas, health, insurance, or safety.

If you find any incorrect information on the Site, or become aware of a change in dates, prices, or venues, please let me know at linda@traveltyrol.com and I will do my best to correct it.

Third-Party Links

The Site contains hyperlinks and references to third-party websites for your convenience, including tourism boards, accommodation providers, and booking platforms. I do not control and am not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any linked website; visiting them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Parts of the Site may also include content or images submitted by third parties; responsibility for the accuracy of such content and its compliance with applicable law lies with the third party who submitted it.

Affiliate Links & Advertising

Travel Tyrol is partly financed through advertising and affiliate/partner marketing, including (among others) GetYourGuide and Travelpayouts. Some links and booking widgets on the Site are affiliate links: if you click through and go on to make a booking or purchase, I may earn a small commission from the provider concerned, at no extra cost to you. Any booking or purchase made through such a link is a contract concluded directly between you and the relevant third-party provider, not with me; I am not a party to that contract and recommend reviewing the provider’s own terms and privacy policy before booking. Most affiliate links are for products, services, and providers I use personally or would genuinely recommend regardless of any commission.

Comments and User Conduct

The Site may allow you to leave comments or interact through social sharing features. By posting a comment, you agree that it must be relevant, respectful and lawful, and must not be defamatory, obscene, threatening, infringing of a third party’s rights, or otherwise unlawful. I do not pre-moderate every comment but reserve the right to edit, decline to publish, or remove any comment or other user content at my discretion and without notice, in particular where it appears to breach these Terms or applicable law. If you believe a comment or other content on the Site infringes your rights or is otherwise unlawful, please contact me at linda@traveltyrol.com describing the content and the issue, and I will review it and remove it where appropriate. I am not liable for comments or other content posted by users, including any defamatory, offensive, or unlawful conduct of a user, though I may cooperate with legal authorities where required to do so by law.

Indemnity and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Austrian law, use of the Site is at your own risk and the Site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content, except where such loss or damage results from intent (Vorsatz) or gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit) on my part, or in cases where liability cannot legally be excluded, such as claims arising from injury to life, body, or health. You agree to indemnify me against reasonable claims, demands, or costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Site. If you are dissatisfied with the Site in any way, your sole remedy is to stop using it.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and your use of the Site are governed by the laws of Austria, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. If you are accessing the Site as a business rather than as a consumer, the competent court for Innsbruck, Austria has exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms. If you are a consumer, this does not affect any mandatory statutory rights you may have, including your right to bring proceedings before the courts of your own place of residence under applicable consumer-protection law.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect, and the invalid provision will be replaced by a valid one that most closely reflects its original intent.

Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by my Privacy Policy, which explains how I collect, use, and protect your personal data, and forms part of these Terms. By using the Site, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.
